About Us

NSD EDUCATIONAL WELFARE TRUST is a non-profit organization, working for the upliftment of the marginalized communities. The founding members of the trust were initially involved in improving the educational status of underprivileged children, particularly those hailing from the minority communities and Other Backward Class. However, during the course of their activities, the members realized that a more systematic approach was required to address issues related to poverty and lack of development among the underprivileged communities. And simultaneously it also dawned upon them that they need to have a more holistic approach towards development and hence should expand the scope of their activities, that is, their activities should not be limited only to education. Thus, under the able leadership of Mr Sahin Sahari, a trust, namely NSD EDUCATIONAL WELFARE TRUST, was registered.
